I have always been a crafty and creative person since I was very little and nothing has changed now that I am in my thirties.
I started Crafts with Megan officially in 2013 when I wanted a place to showcase the items I have been working on. Little did I know that I had friends who were interested too, and asked if I was interested in showing them how to do it… and that's how it all started.
I love teaching classes and creating with people. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing someone create something they never thought they could.
Being in my craft room and playing around with a new product, technique, creating a new class, or getting to do a custom greeting card for someone to give to that someone special in their life is incredible.
Crafting is my happy place. It keeps me calm and grounded.
If this is something you are interested in doing, it's a lot of fun. Get some girlfriends together and come to a private class. We can do greeting cards, easy wood signs, or custom wine glasses or tumblers.

If you are wanting to stay home or you're not local, I am now offering DIY kits to go. This makes it easy for you to plan a crafty session for some creative me-time or get a group of friends together to stay in and create some memories. How to plan a crafting session
The perfect way to plan a get together for you and your friends is to start by picking a date that works for you all and selecting that fun project you want to try, whether it’s making custom greeting cards or wine glasses. Or, plan a dedicated night all to yourself. You can do whatever craft you want from anywhere, but that's what I am here for, to make the project selection easier. Choose from the crafting kits listed on my website or we can talk about a custom kit to make something extra special.
Grab some delicious snacks and your beverage of choice, and enjoy your time with one another. Oh, and don't forget the music. You can’t craft without the jams!
Gather your supplies. Whatever your project, be sure to round-up everything you need ahead of time. Here’s a sneak peak of what’s in one of the DIY kits to go.
If you're thinking to yourself, ‘Oh, but I'm not crafty’ or ‘I can't do that, I'm not creative’, let's push those thoughts away right now because anything you create is one-of-a-kind and made by you. This experience is about creating memories with your friends while doing something different.
