To help readers know that we are all relatable
To encourage everyone to live fulfilling lives with balance
How are we inspired?
When we are motivated by the actions of others
When we realize we too can achieve what others have
When we see a part of ourselves in what someone else achieves
When the experience of others reveals the potential in me.
Mission
Inspire Me Magazine is an online digital publication, an e-zine, targeted primarily at women, ages 25-45.
Our mission is to help readers understand they are not alone and that we are all relatable. This informative and inspiring take on life will encourage readers to live fulfilling lives with balance.
When we talk and share about our various experiences, we make connections. We relate. We feel inspired. We all have struggles, be they with chronic illness, mental health, careers, parenting, or finding balance. We need to share these stories and talk about these experiences. Everyone deserves to be reminded they are not alone.
Inspire Me is a space to present different perspectives all with the same purpose: to inspire, share, teach, learn, and connect us. The experience of others reveals the potential in each of us.
This digital publication also features, highlights, and promotes entrepreneurs and businesses that help people believe in a better future for themselves and the community around them. In turn, these businesses grow and thrive.

Publisher
Hello, I’m Heather! Life is all about balance. For me that means raising a young family, pursuing a fulfilling career, enjoying a vibrant social circle, and taking care of myself. All while living with an unpredictable and chronic illness: Crohn’s Disease, and all that comes with it. I don’t let anything hold me back. I strive to live a fulfilling life, and hope to inspire others to do the same.
I’ve worked as a magazine editor, book reviewer, project manager, freelance journalist, blogger, and content creator for twelve years. The magazine world is and always has been my passion. From the family newsletter I started at age 10, to the glamorous internship at a glossy women’s magazine in the UK, to contributions in a variety of publications across Atlantic Canada, my love for the publishing industry, combined with my passion and talent for sharing stories, remains strong.
I’ve noticed when I focus on sharing my experiences with chronic illness, I make the most connections. I help myself, those around me, and anyone who just needs to know they are not alone. I believe stories like mine are very valuable to others, because the experience of others reveals the potential in each of us.
I recognize the value in creating a space to tell others' stories and share others' experiences, along with informative and inspiring lifestyle content that will teach and delight, energize, excite, encourage, and connect people.
On the realization of a gap in the market to fulfill this mission, Inspire Me Magazine comes to fruition.
Let's Inspire!
